  11. Cognitive strategies and social/affective strategies are the ones I identify with the most because they talk about how the learner can encourage themselves with their own learning, taking into account what they have learnt and putting it to the test in terms of things they would like to be doing, that is why it is so important to take into account the likes and dislikes and the ways in which one learns faster; then learn a bit more with social networks, where you can find a variety of vocabulary that you can then put into practice.

I do not Accord with having houndreds of strats and the cuantity of things to learn on each one ,you can learn More than 10 songs in two hours, but yeah it depends on each one process.
They work but as a tool for the main process itself and not as the main way to learn, it is necessary to focus on studying not in secondary strats, but they deserve Time and motivation

  16. I think that the steps provided by teachers are courses of action for students to have better access to their learning achievements.

  17. My general thought about these strategies, is that some of them may be really useful depending on which context each pearson is on by. But almost the entire strategies can get summarized into motivation, use of resources and discipline, but about this last one it's uncertain if it's really the scope of these strategies. I may apply them in my personal life, but synthesized. Buy my biggest issue with these ideas is the people who "try to apply them" as they would do anything to learn but study. We have to be opened to put ourselves in it.

  18. I think the most interesting and unreassuring strategies could be social strategies, because these conversations with new people could be a lot of fun.

  19. I consider all of the learning strategies mentioned previously are important for learning a new language but I think that not all students will practice these activities maybe some of they use only one, so identifying the different learning processes and likes is also part of the process. Moreover in my point of view motivation is important factor when is about learning languages, I think that if the learners set short-term goals, it can be more rewarding to achieve them.

    1. I agree with you. All of these strategies are important for the different needs of the students and to improve their autonomous learning. However, I take a little bit of each strategy if it helps me learn better, for example I listen to music in English, listen to podcasts and watch subtitled movies. These and many other strategies have helped me to learn a new language independently.

  33. I think it’s a very complete plan, as it includes different types of strategies like metacognitive, cognitive, social/affective, and goal-setting strategies. These strategies not only help us learn the language but also encourage us to genuinely enjoy English, which I think is very important for building confidence and motivation.

The goal-setting strategies, like watching movies without subtitles, listening to podcasts, and reading English news, seem very effective to create a regular practice habit. I also like the social/affective strategies, as they help us practice English with other people, which is very important for improving fluency. Another idea I find interesting is setting small rewards, like having a coffee after reading the news in English; it’s a nice way to make practice enjoyable.

I believe that if I use these strategies regularly, I can improve my English and learn in a more independent way. I would like to hear your advice on how to integrate these strategies into my study routine to get better results.
